The marriage of miss Margaret Fingar, oldest daughter of Mr and Mrs Peter Fingar, to Royden Snyder of North Germantown, took place on Wednesday at Blowenburg, N. J., the Rev. Claudius J. Fingar, an uncle of the bride, officiating.
Upon their return from a wedding tour a reception was held at the home of the bride's parents. A number of invited guests were present. The newly married couple are now occupying a handsome cottage at Pittsfield, Mass., where Mr Snyder has a position in the electrical department of a large business concern. - The Columbia Republican October 17, 1911 page 5

Mrs. Margaret E. Snyder, a resident of Germantown for the past 16 years, died early last Thursday morning at Columbia Memorial Hospital, after a long Illness.
Mrs. Snyder was the widow of
Roy D. Snyder. Before moving to Germantown where she made her home with a sister,
Mrs. Aletha Sipperly, she lived in Bridgeport, Conn, for 35 years.
She was born in Rhinebeck on June 12, 1886, daughter of
Peter Fingar and
Mary Lasher Fingar.
Mrs. Snyder was a member of the Germantown Methodist Church and of its W.S.C.S. and a member of Portia Chapter, Order of the Eastern Star, of Tivoli.
Surviving, besides her sister, are two brothers,
Elmer Fingar of Chappaque, and
Willis Fingar of Germantown; and several nieces and nephews.
The funeral service was held at Yadack Funeral Home, Germantown on Saturday at 2 p.m. Rev. George Hunsberger was officiated.
Interment was in the family plot in Valley View Cemetery, Germantown. -
