Jacob Finger. She was born on Monday, September 13, 1824, and she died on Friday, December 13, 1901 at 11 Union Avenue, Cranford, at age 77 years. Her burial was at Fairview Cemetery, Westfield, Union County, New Jersey on Monday, December 16, 1901. She was a resident of New Jersey for 55 years and came to United States in 1848 at the age of 24 years. She went by the name
Mary or
Maria. Her father's name was
Jacob Rilling and her mother's name was
Mary.
Mrs. Mary Finger, widow of the late Jacob Finger, of Warrenville, died at the home of her daughter, Mrs. William Kleinfelder, on Union Avenue, yesterday afternoon at 5: 15 o'clock. Mrs. Finger had been ill for the last nine weeks, and it was not expected she would recover, although she died sooner than expected. Mrs. Finger was 77 years old, and had made her home with Mrs. Kleinfelder for the past two years. - Elizabeth Daily Journal December 14, 1901.
