Beatrice 'Betty' I. Finger, age 93, of Clintonville, entered her heavenly home on Wednesday, October 14, 2009, at Kindred Hearts of Clintonville. Betty was born on May 10, 1916, in the Township of Bear Creek, Waupaca County, the daughter of the late Phillip and Jennie (Lehman) Hanson.
She attended Elm Dale School in the Township of Bear Creek and later worked at Fox River Paper, Appleton, and then at Hansen Glove Factory, Clintonville. She married Clifford Finger on December 8, 1943, in Menominee, MI. The couple lived and farmed in the Township of Deer Creek, Outagamie County until 1964, when they moved to Clintonville. Betty owned and operated the Corn Crib Pop Corn Stand on Main St. and worked at Donaldson's Cleaners, both in Clintonville.
Her husband Clifford preceded his wife in death on October 21, 2004. Betty enjoyed flowers, gardening, playing cards, bingo, and taking rides in the country. She was a long-time member of the St. Martin Lutheran Church, Clintonville where she was a member of the Ladies Aid.
Survivors include her daughter, Janis (John) Allen, Appleton her sons: Rolland (Sandra) Finger Appleton Glenn (Penny) Finger, Neenah her grandchildren: Scott (Jill) Finger, Greg (Shelley) Finger, Jodi (Dan) Boettcher, Jacci (Curt) Randt, Jenni (Jim) Alberts, Jana (Aaron) Janssen, Jeff Allen, Randy (Angie) Finger, Brian (Bobbie Jo) Finger and Tracy (Paul) Melzer her great-grandchildren: Michelle and Stacy Natzke, Hayden and Brady Boettcher, Michael Tatrai Jacob Randt, Joshua, Justin and Jaysen Alberts, Jared and Brady Janssen, Kaylee, Kyle and Klayton Finger, Regan and Kendall Finger and Logan and Sadie Melzer step-great grandchildren: Tyler, Eric and Haylee Tennessen her sister, Darlene (Stan) Christensen, Oshkosh her brother, Harold Hanson, Clintonville her sisters-in-law: Ione Hanson, Appleton Dorothy Finger, New London her brother-in-law, Lyman Finger, Zephyr Hills, FL numerous nieces, nephews, relatives and friends.
She was preceded in death by her parents, her stepmother, Josephine Hanson McGinty, her husband, Clifford, her granddaughter, Tanya Finger, a sister, Luella (Merlin) Guyette, three brothers: Andrew (Louise) Hanson, Rueben (Mae) Hanson and Lloyd Hanson her sisters-in-law: Florence and Lucille Hanson, Marion and Almira Finger, Evelyn and Emil Ahrens, Glyndon Finger, Margaret and Frank Heimann, Loretta and Madelyn Finger.
