Her story began on October 21, 1945 where she was welcomed into the world by her loving parents, Raymond and Mary Audrey Fingar. Carolyn grew up in Brandon, Florida and graduated from King High School in 1963. After graduating from the University of South Florida, Carolyn shared her gift of a loving heart, happy soul, and brilliant mind with others. Throughout her 30 year-long career teaching Business Education at several high schools, Carolyn passionately influenced and empowered her beloved students to be better people by making positive contributions to this world.
Carolyn shared 34 blissful years of marriage alongside her loving husband, Joe White. The admirable bond Carolyn and Joe shared was inspiring and adored by everyone they met. Carolyn never met a stranger, and always left with a new friend everywhere she went. Her physical time with us gracefully ended on August 23, 2018. We are left with wonderful memories, life lessons, and peaceful minds as we remember someone we all cherished.
Carolyn will be lovingly remembered by her husband, Joe; mother-in-law, Evelyn Hughes; step mother-in-law, Jimmie White; brother, Richard (Disha) Fingar; brothers-in-law, James Parker, Scott White (Nan) and Tim White (Robyn); sister-in-law, Ann Dobbertin; nieces, Melinda (Harold) Yarbrough, Tammy Parker-Haas (Tom Jenkins), Jami (Randy) Pierce; nephews, Ricky (Rick) Maryellen Fingar, Alfred (Dewey) Cathy Fingar; numerous uncles, aunts, cousins, great nieces, great nephews and friends. Carolyn was preceded in death by parents, Raymond and Mary Audrey Fingar; sister, Mary Frances Parker; and great niece, Disha Breann Yarbrough.
