Rensselaer Fingar died at his home at Nevis, Sunday, at the age of 53 years. Mr. Fingar was overcome by the heat while working in his garden last Monday. Medical aid was summoned, and he rallied and was thought to be all right, but he sank back again from the effects of the prostration. Mr. Fingar was a man respected in the community where he lived so long and his death will be heard with regret. He was collector of his town for several years. He leaves a wife, daughter and three sons. Hudson Register, July 12, 1901
