Finger of Saugerties, have announced the engagement of their daughter, Maxine, to Raymond Eugene Bernier, son of Eugene Bernier and the late Mrs. Bernier of Kings Village, Saugerties. Miss Finger is a graduate of Saugerties High School and the Moran Spencerian School of Business, Kingston, and is employed by W. T. Grant Co., Simmons Plaza.

Maxine Finger of Route 1, Box 78, Saugerties, and Raymond Bernier of 2 Stevens Court, Saugerties, were united in marriage Saturday at 1 p. m., in a civil ceremony performed by Town Justice of the Peace Glenford Myers. Witnesses were Chester E. Short and Marlene Finger, both of Saugerties. The ceremony took place at the home of the bride's parents.
