Laura Louise Dick were married at the Congregational church, by Rev. Wm. F. Kettle. The groom is manager of the Postal Telegraph Office in Owego. He was formerly in the Penn Yan office. -

Arthur T. Copson, 67 E. Fifth St., died Monday at Oswego Hospital where he was removed, after being stricken ill at his home. He was the husband of Laura Dick Copson. Mr. Copson had been ill for some time. Born at Manchester, N. H., he was the son of the late James and Caroline Pepper Copson. Mr. Copson was a member of the Lake City Lodge 127 F&AM. He had been a resident in Oswego since 1913 and manager of the Postal Telegpaph for 35 years. When the Postal Telegraph and Western Union merged, he joined the staff of Western Union as the automatic operator and manager. He was one of the old-time Morse key telegraphers. He was a communicant of Christ Church. Surviving, with his widow are a brother, Donald Copson of New Castle, Pa. two sisters, Mrs. William (Lucy) Disbrow Penn Yann and Mrs. Neil (Shirley) McNulty of Corning, also several nieces and nephews. Funeral services will be held at the family home, 67 E. Fifth St., Friday at 9:30 a. m., and in Christ Church, at 10 a. m. with the Rev Frederick R. Mills rector officiating. Burial will be Riverside cemetery. Friends are invited to call at the residence at their convenience. The Palladium-Times April 28, 1957.
