STANLEY - The Rev. Clyde J. Hurlbutt officiated at the wedding of his granddaughter, Juanita Hope Tears to Andrew A. Condon on Saturday, Aug. 16. The 2 p.m. ceremony took place in Bethel Baptist Church of Gorham.
Blue and white daisies and gladiolus decorated the altar. Mrs. Martha Allen was the organist. The bride is the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Lawrence E. Tears of 4110 Flint Road. The bridegroom is the son of Mr. and Mrs. George Condon of 4 Plum St.,Massena.
The bride was escorted to the altar by her father for the double ring ceremony. She carried red roses on a white Bible. The bride's gown of white dacron polyester organza was lined with acetate taffeta. It was designed with acetate taffeta. It was designed with a stand-up collar, front and back ruffletrimmed yokes, all in lace, an empire waist, and long illusion sleeves with lace cuffs. The full skirt carried into an attached chapel train. Her chapel length veil of polyester organza was trimmed with lace and seed pearls. Miss Joy Allen of Penn Yan was the maid of honor. The bridesmaids were Miss Penelope Tears, Miss Kimberly Tears and Miss Shawn Tears, all sisters of the bride.
Douglas Hall of Massena was the best man. The ushers were Tom Condon of Spencerport, and Mark Condon of Massena, brothers of the bridegroom, and Dennis Tears, brother of the bride.
The bride is a 1976 graduate of Marcus Whitman High School and a 1978 graduate of Bryant and Stratton. She is employed at Boychuk, Battisti and Hayes, C.P.A., Geneva.
