PENN YAN - Funeral services for Mrs. Frances Tears, 79, 110 Chapel St., who died yesterday at the home of her daughter, Mrs. Oletha Johns of Reynolds Trailer Park, will be Friday at 2 p.m. at the Cahill Funeral Home. The Rev. Gerald Vanaman of the Barrington Community Church will officiate. Burial will be in Lakeview Cemetery. Friends may call at the funeral home today from 24 and 7-9 p.m. Memorial contributions may be made to Soldiers and Sailors Memorial Hospital.
Born in the Town of Benton, Mrs. Tears was a life resident of the area. She retired several years ago from Comstock Foods Inc. Surviving, besides Mrs. Johns, are two daughters, Mrs. Gordon (Madeline) Brink and Mrs. Walter (Vera) Banach, both of Penn Yan one son, Erwin (Benny) of Dundee four grandchildren and six great-grandchildren.
