GENEVA - Roy E. Bergstresser, 61, of Pre-Emption Rd., died unexpectedly yesterday morning shortly after arrival at Geneva General Hospital. Funeral services will be at 2 p.m. Wednesday at the Bennett Funeral Home Inc. The Rev. John Wolfe Jr., pastor of the First United Methodist Church, will officiate. Burial will be at the convenience of the family. Friends may call at the funeral home today from 7-9 p.m. and tomorrow from 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to the memorial fund of the First United Methodist Church or the Heart Fund. Mr. Bergstresser was employed at the New York State Experiment Station as a research technician for the past 40 years. He was a veteran of World War II. He was a member of the Winnek Post American Legion, the Danish Brotherhood of America and the Civil Service Association. Surviving are his wife, Mrs. Elizabeth Bergstresser, of Geneva two daughters, Phyllis A., of Webster and Lois I., at home one son, Bruce E. Bergstresser of Cincinnati, Ohio three sisters, Mrs. Charles (Clara) Hunt, of Gorham, Mrs. Harl (Mabel) Mann, of Geneva and Mrs. Luella Felling, of Geneva two nieces, one aunt and two uncles.
