WAVERLY, N. Y., Feb. 2. - The body of Walter E. Finger, badly mutilated, was discovered on the tracks of the Erie railroad last night. A train had passed over him. He is supposed to have fallen from a freight train. Finger was 24 years of age and was an artillery man during the Cuban war. His relatives live in Kingston, N. Y., and Columbus, Ohio. - The Gloversville Daily Leader February 2, 1901
