PENN YAN, Sept. 25. - Mrs. Vincent Race, aged 21 years died in the Soldiers' and Sailors' Hospital here. Mrs. Race has suffered for several months from a peculiar ailment that has baffled both local doctors as well as the most eminent specialists who have been called and several blood transfusions have been resorted to in an effort to save her. She leaves her husband Vincent Race of Penn Yan, one daughter Betty Joyce, an infant and her father, Harry Parker and three brothers, William Parker, of Geneva Harold and Paul Parker of Penn Yan and one sister, Mrs. Carolyn Savage of Westlo, Texas. A prayer service will he held Monday afternoon at 2 o'clock from the home and the funeral will be held from the Methodist church at 2:30 with Revs. S. O. Houghton and Earl Chapin officiating.
