St. Marie's Church, Cohoes, was the scene May 1 of the marriage of Miss Loretta Saddier, daughter of Mrs. Joseph Saddier, 30 Erie St., Cohoes, and the late Mr. Saddier, and Kenneth Boyer, son of Mr. and Mrs. Edward Boyer, 86 Younglove Ave, Cohoes. Rev. George C. Gagnon officiated at the noon nuptials. Rev. Adrien J. Bechard, pastor, was seated in the sanctuary. Louis Lemay escorted his niece to the altar. She was attended by Mrs. Thomas Murray as matron of honor. The Misses Marylyn O'Malley and Frances Gagnon were bridesmaids. Thomas Guyette was the best man. The ushers were Edward Savoie, cousin of the bridegroom, and David Borden. The bride chose a gown of Alencon lace and taffeta with Sabrina neckline and chapel train. A pearl and rhinestone crown held her fingertip veil and she carried white roses and carnations. Mrs. Murray wore pink printed nylon with picture hat and carried orchid chrysanthemums. The bridesmaids wore orchid and carried pink chrysanthemums. Mrs. Boyer is a graduate of Keveny Memorial Academy and has been employed by the Metropolitan Life Insurance Co. in Cohoes. Her husband, a graduate of Christian Broilers Academy, is employed by the General Electric Co. at Utica. - The Troy Record May 14, 1960
