Funeral services were held at Chatham Sunday for the late William M. Krick, 84, who died at Columbia Memorial Hospital June 21 where he had been a patient five days. He was born in Blue Stores December 21, 1871, and had resided in Chatham for the past 18 years. As a boy he lived in Harlemville and was well known in that area where he was an expert blacksmith and wagonmaker. He retired 25 years ago. Surviving are his wife, Nettie four brothers, Albert and Paul Krick of Harlemville Edward of Livingston and Benjamin of East Granky, Conn. a sister, Mrs. Caroline Loop of New York. He was a brother to the late Anna Krick. Services were held from the Chatham Funeral Home Sunday, with Rev. Charles Pope of the Ghent Lutheran Church and Rev. Oscar Arnold of New Lebanon officiating. Burial was in Spencertown Cemetery. - Chatham Courier June 28, 1956 Found him on the 1880 Hillsdale, Columbia, New York census (dist 15 img 36) as William M. Krick age 9.
