She is referred to as Millie Record in one newspaper account. - The Geneva Times August 12, 1971 CANANDAIGUA - Manila Sizemore Record, 86, passed away on Sunday, October 5, 2008.Friends called from 6 to 8 p.m. Tuesday, Oct. 7 at the Johnson- Kennedy Funeral Home, Inc., 47 N. Main St., Canandaigua and from 9:30 to 10 a.m. Wednesday, Oct. 8 at the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints, 365 Parrish St., Canandaigua, where her funeral service followed at 10 a.m. Interment was in Woodlawn Cemetery. Contributions in her memory may be made to the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints, Missionary Fund, 365 Parrish St. Canandaigua, NY 14424. Mrs. Record proudly served for five years, with her late husband Louis, as Temple workers at the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints in Washington, D.C. She served as Matron of the Order of the Eastern Star, Rushville Chapter. She enjoyed genealogy and she, along with Louis, were members of the Magic Squares Square Dancing Club. A long time member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints, Penn Yan Branch, she remained very active, teaching adult spiritual classes every two weeks. She is survived by her children, Mitchell (Mary) Record of Shortsville, Sharolyn (Gary) Chicoine of Geneva, Onnolee (Jim, Jr.) Rosa of Geneva and Patricia (Steven) Andersen of Dover, Del. 13 grandchildren, 23 great-grandchildren a sister, Levina Milnee of Brookville, Fla. sister-in-law, Lillian Cote of Jacksonville, Fla and many nieces and nephews. She was pre-deceased by her husband, Louis I. Record, and her grandson, John Record. - The Chronicle-Express October 15, 2008 Found her on the 1930 Harlan, Harlan, Kentucky census (dist 2 img 53) as Manilla Sizemore age 7.
