PENN YAN. Dec. 21 - Jinx is in the trail of
Clark Finger and famlly of Penn Yan. Mrs. Finger recently was taken to the hospital for an operation. In his hurry to get to the hospital and see her, Mr. Finger left his team in the yard, although it is his usual custom to separate the horses owing to the kicking propensities of one animal. When he returned home, one of the team needed the services of a veterinary. In endeavoring to lift the injured horse, it slipped and fell upon Mr. Finger, breaking his leg in two places. The horse's leg was also fractured and the animal had to be killed. Hearing of their misfortune, relatives went to the Finger home to render assistance and while away, found the home had burned to the ground. -
