Theodore Killmer Sr., 89, a retired mechanic for Cook's Farm Machinery in Amenia, died June 15 at Sharon Hospital in Sharon, Conn, after a long illness. Mr. Killmer was a local resident since 1973, moving from Millerton. Born in Smithfield, April 25,1901, he was the son of Milton J. and Cora E. Cooper Killmer. He was predeceased by his wife, the former Elsa Ellsworth, in 1984. Surviving are a daughter, Shirley Tripp Revette with whom he made his home a son, Theodore Jr. of Pine Plains, a brother, Russell Hosier of Ancram four sisters, Ethel Farley of Hillsdale, Bessie Roberts of Boston Corners, Goldie Cookingham of Craryville and Pearl Olson of Pennsylvania 14 grandchildren 24 greatgrandchildren and several nieces and nephews. Mr. Killmer was predeceased by a son, Raymond, in 1983.
Arrangements were made by the Peck and Peck Funeral Home, Pine Plains. Burial was in Evergreen Cemetery. - The Register Herald June 20, 1990
