At the home of the bride's parents,
Mr. and Mrs. Ellsworth Tripp, near Ancram Lead Mines, their daughter
Isabelle was united in marriage on Christmas day to
Herrick Hedges. Only the immediate relatives of the two families were present. The ceremony was performed by the Rev. Mr. Nagle, pastor of the Presbyterian church, of Ancram Lead Mines. Miss
Ruth Tripp, a sister of the bride acted as bridesmaid, and
Stanley Card acted a best man. The young couple were the recipients of many handsome and useful presents. After a wedding journey Mr. and Mrs. Hedges will reside in the town of Pine Plains. -

Mrs. J. Herrick Hedges, 77, a resident of Birch Drive, Pine Plains, died Saturday, November 16 at the Victory Lake Nursing Home, Hyde Park. She was the former Isabelle Tripp, who was born in Ancram April 17, 1897, the daughter of Ellsworth and Nellie Lown Tripp. Until her retirement, Mrs. Hedges had been employed in the cafeteria at the Pine Plains Central School. She was a member of the Pine Plains United Methodist Church. In addition to her husband, survivors include two sons, Raymond, Amenia, and William Hedges, Pine Plains two daughters, Mrs. Louise Ackerman, Parker Ford, Pa., and Mrs. Olive Sorbo, Pine Plains two brothers, DeWitt, Ancram, and Alford Tripp, Lenoxdale, Mass. a sister, Mrs. Ruth Jenning, Ancram 12 grandchildren and 13 greatgrandchildren. Funeral services were held Wednesday, November 20, at the Peck and Peck Funeral Home, Pine Plains. Rev. Alfred Liberatore officiated. Interment was in Evergreen Cemetery, Pine Plains.
