Melvin Bathrick, formerly of the town of Milan, died at the home of his daughter, Mrs, William Woolsey of Red Hook, on Wednesday. He had lived in Red Hook for 18 years and was 86 years old. Herbert Bathrick of Jackson Corners is among his surviving children the others are Robert of New Milford, Conn., Gilbert of Barrytown, Albert and Jasper of New Haven, Conn. Delbert, Rhinebeck, Clarence of Red Hook, and two daughters, Mrs. Woolsey and Mrs. Clayton Holsapple, both of Red Hook. Funeral was held Saturday afternoon at 1 o'clock from the Woolsey home, services being conducted by Rev. Conrad Mcuger of the Red Hook Methodist church. Interment Was in the Vedder Reformed church cemetery at Gallatin. The Register November 27, 1930 Found him on the 1900 Milan, Dutchess, New York census (dist 14 img10) as Melvin Bathrick age 56, farmer.
