Miss Carol Ann Harker of 749 Second Ave„ North Troy, daughter of the late Mr. and Mrs. Mason E. Harker, and Granville G. Best, son of Mr. and Mrs. Willard Best of 142 Osborne Road, were married Sept. 22 at Christ Church United Methodist, Troy. The Rev. William Groshans officiated. Attending the bride were Mrs. William Harker, matron of honor Miss Carol Foley and Kristina Harker, flower girl. The bridegroom's attendants were Norbort Morlock, best man Gwynne Best, Wendell Best and Kevin Harker, ring bearer. After a reception at Germania Hall, North Troy, the couple left for a trip through Canada. - Times-Union October 11, 1968
