Naples, Jan. 13 — Mr. and Mrs. Frank B. Ingraham of 652 South Main street, Canandaigua Tuesday celebrated their 50th wedding anniversary at their home when a goodly company of friends and relatives gathered at the home as a surprise to them.
Mr. and Mrs. Ingraham lived most of their married life on a large farm at West Hollow about five miles north of Naples where he engaged in general farming and lumbering and their home had most of the modern equipment. F. B. Ingraham, age 81 years, died Sunday January 4, at the home of his niece Mrs. Robert Morrow in Bristol Springs.
Mr. Ingraham, born in Naples, Jan. 6, 1860, had he lived two more days he would have been 82. The son of Zenas Ingraham and Emily Lamphier. Mrs. Ingraham passed away in December 1938.
Mr. Ingraham was well known throughout Ontario County, having been a prominent farmer up to the time he retired several years ago. After disposing of his farm he moved to Canandaigua, where he purchased a home. He was the first master of the South Bristol Grange and was also very active in temperance work up to the time of his death. - The Naples News January 7, 1942
