Eunice Dahlin Finger, 85, of Northport, passed away Tuesday, April 20, 2010, at her home, under the wonderful care provided by Munson Hospice.
Eunice was born May 17, 1924, in Chicago, the daughter of John and Lydia (Hult) Dahlin. On June 30, 1946, in Evanston, Ill., she married her loving husband of 63 years, Eben Martin Finger, who survives.
Eunice was very active in the PEO; she was one of the longest serving members in her 50 years of membership. She served in many of the PEO's organizational offices.
She was a member of the Northport Women's Club, and served on the board of the Leelanau Children's Center. Eunice also volunteered at the Leelanau Memorial Hospital.
Since she was four years old, Eunice sang in the choir. She was very active in the Leland United Methodist Church and sang in its choir.
Eunice is survived by her husband, Eben; two children, Christine Marie Finger of Suttons Bay, David Martin (Becky) Finger of Mainville, Ohio; three grandchildren, Katherine Crissey Finger, Sarah Frances Finger and Christopher Martin Finger.
She was preceded in death by her siblings, Vivian Terranella and Harold Dahlin.
