WWII Draft Registration

ROCHESTER, May 24. Howard J. Finger, 25, of Buffalo, today pleaded guilty before Federal Judge Harold P. Burke to a charge of stealing from the mail last Nov. 19 an envelope addressed to Victor & Co. and containing $4. Finger was a temporary mail carrier at that time. A second count, containing a similar charge, was dismissed. Finger will be sentenced June 14. - Buffalo Evening News May 24, 1948.
