Miss Sheila Ann Brusie, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. John H. Bruise of Hillsdale, and Louis Andrew Finger, Jr., son of Mr. and Mrs. Lewis A. Finger of Bayport, L.I., were married Saturday in the First Methodist Church in Hillsdale. The Rev. William H. Hunter, officiated. - Times-Union August 5, 1965
Sheila Ann Finger, 75 of Lincolndale, NY passed away on Tuesday August 4, 2020 at Northern Westchester Hospital in Mt. Kisco, NY.
She was born on November 28, 1944 in Hillsdale, NY a daughter of the late John and Minnie (Pedell) Bruise.
A homemaker, Sheila also served as a substitute teacher for the BOCES program in Yorktown Heights, NY. Sheila was an avid singer and enjoyed playing the piano. An animal lover she enjoyed many pursuits including clogging, bowling and tending to her gardens.
She was predeceased by her husband Louis Finger Jr.
Survivors include her children, Louis A. Finger III of Lincolndale, Laurie L. Finger of Lincolndale and Gregory J. Finger of Stormville. She also leaves seven grandchildren and a brother, Richard Brusie of Copake Falls.
Along with her husband Louis she was also predeceased by her siblings, Barbara, Howard and Gerald.
A graveside services will be held on Saturday August 8, 2020 at 11 AM in the new section of the Hillsdale Rural Cemetery.
