Miss Joan Priscilia Wilcox, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Forrest E. Wilcox, 2708 Linwood Ave., Niagara Falls, became the bride of Gerald Weidon Fingar, son of Mr. and Mrs. Robert Fingar, RD 5, Penn Yan, on Saturday. The double ring ceremony was performed at 2 p. m. by the Rev. Lester L. Hunt in the Niagara Falls First Baptist Church. Mrs. Dorothy Umpton Call was organist.
Gordon W. Fingar, twin brother of the bridegroom, was best man. Ushers were Norman Fingar and Darwin Fingar, also brothers of the bridegroom. A reception was held in the Church House following the ceremony.
After a wedding trip the couple will reside at 19 Sherrill St, Geneva, N. Y.
The bride graduated in 1956 from Niagara Falls High School and attended Keuka Collage. The bridegroom attended schools in Penn Yan.
Pre-nuptial event was a variety shower given by Miss Joyce Fingar, Mrs. Gordon Fingar and Mrs. Norman Fingar. - Marriage Announcement Geneva Daily Times June 20, 1957
