Found her on the 1850, Huntington, Indiana census (dist 52 img 14) as Jaline Austin, age 30, born NC.

Found her on the 1870 Lafayette, Allen, Indiana census (img 1), age 50, as Jane, born Ohio.

Found her on the 1880 Lafayette, Allen, Indiana census (dist 116 img 13) as Chaplin Austin age 62.

Mrs. Jaline Austin, aged 77 years, a native of North Carolina, widow of the late W. M. Austin, died at 10 o`clock yesterday morning of old age. Of ten children, five survive, two daughters and three sons residing in this city. One of the sons died two months ago. - Fort Wayne Journal-Gazette December 16, 1893.
