Saturday morning, January 11, at 9:30 o'clock, Miss A. Jeannette Finger, daughter of Mrs. Frances Finger of Saugerties, was united in marriage to Dr. John L. MacKinnon of the firm of MacKinnon & Fronde chiropractors of Kingston. The wedding ceremony was performed by the bride's pastor, the Rev. B. M. Denniston, of the Methodist Episcopal Church, and included the ring ceremony.
The bride was attired in her traveling suit of champagne broadcloth and carried a bouquet of pink and white roses. Following the ceremony a bountiful wedding breakfast was served and the wedded couple left on the 11:18 train for a few days' tour.
The guests present were Mrs. Frances Finger, Mr. and Mrs. J. Adelbert Fuller, Mr. and Mrs. B. F. Fellows, Catherine Fellows, Donald Fellows, Mr. B. M. Denniston and daughter, Laura.
The bride is one of Saugerties highly esteemed young ladies and is a graduate of Syracuse University, class of 1914. The groom is a native of Ontario, Canada, in which country his parents now reside. Dr. MacKinnon received his technical education at the Palmer School of Chiropractic in Iowa, graduating in the class of 1916. Since that time he has been practicing in Kingston and Saugerties with marked success.
Dr. and Mrs. MacKinnon will make their home in Kingston where he will have his headquarters with his partner in practice, Dr. Froude, but he will also continue practicing in Saugerties. Many friends wish the bride and groom much success and happiness. The Kingston Daily Freeman January 13, 1919
