Katherine B. Schultz Fingar, 50, Park Street, Millerton, died at her home Tuesday, November 21, unexpectedly. She was born in Homeville, Pa., November 10, 1917, the daughter of the late Matthew Schultz and Katherine Brozer Schultz. She survives.
She was married June 16, 1967 in Torrington to Richard R. Fingar.
She moved to Millerton from Torrington in June.
She had been employed by the Torrington Company.
She was a member of Calvary Baptist Church, Torrington, the senior choir, the Women's Federation and the Ladies' Guild, all of the same church.
In addition to her husband and mother, she is survived by a daughter Mrs. George (Roxanne) Thorpe, Torrington two step daughters, Mrs. Donald (Margaret) York, Millerton, and Mrs. Edward (Muriel) Pitcher, Sharon a stepson, Leslie Fingar, Dover Plains a brother, John Ruhrig, Middlesex, N. J. 11 grandchildren and a niece and two nephews.
Funeral services under the direction of Faford-Nutting Funeral Home, Torrington are tentatively set for Friday, November 24 at 1 p.m. The Rev. Lee Perry, pastor of the Calvary Baptist Church, will officiate. Friends may call at the funeral home Wednesday evening 7 to 9, and on Thursday from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. Burial will be in Germantown Reformed Cemetery.
