Forrest Dederick, 32, of Katsbaan, was reported in "fair" condition at the Benedictine Hospital this morning, where he is under treatment for injuries sustained when he fell upon a pitchfork Thursday. It is understood Dederick was working about the hay mow when he fell on the fork, the tines of which penetrated his abdomen. He was treated by Dr. B. W. This must be an error, since his son Luther's death certificate, his granddaughter Marion Rowland, the 1900 New Haven, New Haven, Connecticut census, and the 1920 Hamden, New Haven, Connecticut census all say born Connecticut.

Found him on the 1880 Canton (dist 36), Fulton, Illinois census (img 37) age 30, farm labor. Entry says born CT, father and mother born CT.

Found him on the 1900 New Haven (ed 379), New Haven, Connecticut census, age 52. This census lists his birth as Oct 1847, Connecticut.

Found him on the 1910 New Haven Ward 9, New Haven, Connecticut census (dist 419 img 8) as Charles F. Rowland age 55.

His 1920 address was 35 North St. Hamden, Connecticut
