We are delighted to report that John Vanko has sent us a document showing the appointment of Samuel Finger (b. c. 1568) to the position of official trout-catcher and bird-catcher of Ludwig IV in 1599.

Sorry to say I don't have the time to devote to the website these days. 
Although I'm past retirement age, I continue to work full time. Also, we are having a house built in Meadow Vista, which is about 30 miles from our current home. Picking out everything from cabinets to countertops to light fixtures is more time-consuming than I imagined.
On a sad note, we received word of the loss of Joan Frances Fingar
