Mr. and Mrs. Elmer Lee Fingar of 20 Pinecliff Road have announced the engagement of their daughter, Miss Jane Lynn Fingar, to John D. Branigan, son of Dr. and Mrs. Hugh Branigan of 5 Hamilton Ave., Bronxville. Miss Fingar, a B.A. graduate from Hollins College in Virginia, spent her junior year at the Sorbonne in Paris. She is presently attending graduate school at New York University. Her father, an attorney, is former chief clerk of the Westchester Surrogates Court. Mr. Branigan received a B.S. degree from Columbia University and is an account executive with Merrill, Lynch, Pierce, Fenner and Smith. He is a member of the New York Athletic Club. - Herald Statesman February 7, 1967
