Both the bride and groom are friends of Sam Campbell, the good looking and popular night clerk of the Arlington. The newly wedded pair are among the best young people of Medicine Lodge, where they have legions of friends. We congratulate them most heartily and hope their wedded life will be one of happiness and prosperity.

Medicine Lodge Cressent - July 4, 1890 [Friday]- Married last Tuesday morning, Alonzo Lowry and Miss Minnie Winchester took the train for Wellington where they were married. From there the couple went to Oklahoma where the brides parents reside. This young couple have only been acquainted with each other about 4 weeks, but the young man proceeded to fall head over heels in love at first sight. It is rumored on the street among his friends, that the young lady was not so quick in setting her affections, and that Alonzo, with a pint of spiritus fermentum and a bottle of laudanum, threated to make a corpse of himself in about two minutes if she did not take him for better or worse. She took him, and the Crescent wishes them much happiness. [-Courtesy of Cathie Grant]
