Philip Pepper returned home from Soldiers' and Sailors' Memorial Hospital, Penn Yan on Thursday. He had been a patient there for the past four weeks. -

Funeral services for Philip Pepper, 61, of Bluff Point RD 1, will be held at 2 p.m. Monday at the Thayer Funeral Chapel. The Rev. Orrie Stanton, pastor of Bluff Point Methodist Church, will officiate, interment will be in Bitely Cemetery, Branchport. Mr. Pepper died May 30, 1958. Born in the town of Jerusalem, the son of William and Anna Kirk Pepper, he always had lived in this area. He was a member of the Bluff Point Methodist Church and past master of Guyanoga Valley Grange. He is survived by his widow, Mrs. Bernice Stryker Pepper a son, Ernest of Penn Yan RD 5 two daughters, Mrs. Oliver Haun and Mrs. Clarence Tyler, both of Churchville and two Sisters, Mrs Wesley Finger of Bluff Point, and Mrs. Ray Ingram of Long wood, Fla. - The Geneva Times May 31, 1958
