Ralph W Corey, 86, of 1291 Mays Mills Road, died Thursday (June 6) at Soldiers and Sailors Memorial Hospital. Friends may call at the Townsend Wood Funeral Chapel from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p m Sunday. The funeral will be at 9:30 am Monday at the chapel followed by a Mass of Christian Burial at 10 a.m. at St Michaels Church. Burial will be in Lake View Cemetery. Mr. Corey was born March 24, 1899 in the town of Potter. He was the son of Fred and Valaura Clark Corey. He was a retiree of Michaels Stern Clothing Co. Surviving are his wife, Josephine, three sons Wilfred C of Himrod, Lyle B of Penn Yan and Donald R of Palmer Alaska, two daughters, Mrs Otto (Velma) Christensen of Waterloo and Mrs Ray (Ann) Murray of Keuka Park, two stepsons, Charles R Benedict of Fullerton, California, and Donald Benedict of Reading, Pa , one sister, Mrs Gladys Pinneo of Penn Yan one brother, Perle Corey of Benton Center. 30 grandchildren 51 great-grandchildren, and three great-great- grandchildren.
