A service held at St. James United Methodist Church, Aug. 29, 1969, united in marriage Miss Barbara Ellen Brackney, daughter of Col. and Mrs. Victor E. Warford, San Jose, Calif., and D. Craig Finger, son of Mr. and Mrs. James L. Finger, 1808 Niagara Ave. The Rev. David Weissbard, pastor of First Unitarian Church, Bedford, Mass., cousin of the bridegroom, officiated at the 7:30 p.m. double ring ceremony. The church service in Niagara Falls was preceded by a civil ceremony at the home of the bride in San Jose. The bride was escorted to the altar by James Finger, father of the bridegroom. Attending the couple were Miss Judith Weissbard, Albany, and Edward Barter of Ann Arbor, Mich., and this city. Daniel Van Wie and Douglas Van Wie, Eden, were ushers. A reception was held at the church after the ceremony, and a late family supper was held at the Boathouse Restaruant. The newlyweds left for Ann Arbor, Mich., where Mrs. Finger is working for her Ph.D. in clinical psychology and Mr. Finger for his Ph.D. in school psychology at the University of Michigan. - Niagara Falls Gazette September 9, 1969 A graduate of Cornell University, Mr. Finger is a resident of Ann Arbor, Mich. where he is coordinator of adolescent services at the Yorkwood Center at Yipsilanti State Hospital.
