James Shoemaker was taken to St. Mary's Hospital, Rochester, Tuesday, and will be operated on to-morrow. He was reported quite low yesterday. A ruptured blood vessel is thought to be responsible for his condition. His wife was Miss

The remains of
James Shoemaker were brought to Bath from Rochester last week, and his funeral was held at St. Mary's church. Mr. Shoemaker had a hemorrhage of the lungs a couple weeks ago, and was taken to St. Mary's hospital and was supposed to be recovering when another attack came on Tuesday causing his death.
Mr. Shoemaker was born in this village and resided here until a few years ago. He is survived by his wife, his mother
Mrs. Aaron Shoemaker, a brother,
Thomas and two sisters,
Mrs. Alice Woodard and
Mrs. Ellen Manley. Mrs. Shoemaker was
Carrie Copson, of Bluff Point, before her marriage. She is a sister of
Mrs. Lucy Copson Disbow, Postal Telegraph Co. manager in Penn Yan. -
