The accompanist who took the Place of
Mrs. Marie F Gilford Thursday evening at the Mendelssohn Club concert at the high school audltorlum was Miss
Eunice Mae Shahan, daughter of the
Rev. and Mrs. George A. Shahan of this city. Mrs. Gilford was taken ill and Miss Shahan consented to take her place at the last moment. -

Eunice Shahan of Liberty, daughter of the
Rev. and Mrs. George Shahan formerly of this city, and
Arthur Scott, of West Chester street, were united in marriage. The ceremony took place at 4 o'clock in the Liberty Methodist Church, the bride's father officiating. Miss Shahan was attended by a sister of the groom, Miss
Margaret Scott, while
George Shahan, brother of the bride, was best man. The bride was given in marriage by another brother,
Porter Shahan. Miss
Ruth Scott, also a sister of the groom, played the wedding march. Following the marriage ceremony there was a reception in the hall of the church. The guests attending from Kingston and vicinity were

EAST GREENBUSH, NY - Eunice M. Scott, 76, of 2 Castleton Ave., died November 13, 1988, in Albany Medical Center. She was born December 15, 1911, in Ossining, NY, the daughter of George and Mary Porter Shahan. She was married to Arthur Scott, on June 30, 1934, in Liberty, NY. He died April 3, 1971. She was a graduate of Kingston High School and attended Eastman School of Music, of Rochester. She was a former music-piano teacher. She was a member of the First Methodist Church, of East Greenbush, NY. She is survived by two sons, Eugene A. Scott, of Slingeriands, NY, and Stanley A. Scott, of Middletown, CT two grandchildren, Susan M. Scott, and Jennifer L. Scott.
Graveside services will be Saturday, November 19, at 11:00, at Fairchild Cemetery, Remsen, NY. Friends may call at the John G. Ackley Funeral Home, Remsen, Friday evening only, from 7-9.
