Walter Tripp, 34, a-lifelong resident of Pine Plains died Sunday in San Francisco, Calif., after a long illness. Born April 21, 1937, in Pine Plains, he was the son of DeWitt and Myrtle (Millius) Tripp, Ancramdale. He attended Ulster County Community College and New York University.
Mr. Tripp, a commercial artist, was employed at the International Business Machines Corp. He was a member of the Ancramdale Presbyterian Church.
In addition to his parents, Mr Tripp Is survived by a sister, Mrs. Robert (Vivian) Schiffer Wassaic, and a brother, Alan Tripp, Ancramdale. Burial Was in the Evergreen Cemetery. The Round Table-Register Herald August 18, 1971
