Rollyn W. Boyce, 68, of 125 Cornell Avenue, Hillcrest, former treasurer of an old wholesale grocery firm in Binghamton, died today. Mr. Boyce was treasurer of the Jameson-Boyce Co. before it was absorbed last year by the McTighe Grocery Co., Inc
Mr. Boyce was born in Binghamton Aug. 24, 1898, the son of Mr. and Mrs. Frank W. Boyce. His father founded the family business. He went into his father's business after being graduated at the Binghamton Central High School. He was a member of the Binghamton Exchange Club, the Kalurah Shrine, the Chamber of Commerce, the Triple Cities Association of Credit Men, Binghamton Lodge 177, F&AM, and Kalurah Temple AAAONMS Survivors are his wife, Mrs.Pauline Boyce two daughters, Mrs. Roger Finger of Rochester and Mrs. Charles Pitt of Delmar two brothers, Clarence H. Boyce of Binghampton and E. Douglas Boyce of Sarasota, Florida.
The funeral will be at 2 p. m. Wednesday at the George H. Scholderer home for Funerals, 269 Chenango Street, with the Rev. Leon W. Bouton, pastor of the Ogden-Hillcrest Methodist Church, officiating. Burial will be in Spring Forest Cemetery.
