Miss Madeline Newmann, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Andrew Neumann of Fourth street, Bayside, and Frank W. Finger, son of Mr. and Mrs. Frank Finger of Hurd avenue, Bayside, were married at the Bayside English Lutheran Church this afternoon.
The ceremony was performed by the Rev. Henry C. Wolk, pastor, in the presence of the immediate families and close friends.
Miss Gertrude Neumann, sister of the bride, was bridesmaid, and August Stumpf, a boyhood friend of the bridegroom, was the best man. Jacob Johansen was usher and the bride was given in marriage by her father.
Late this evening Mr. and Mrs. Finger will leave for a wedding trip and upon their return they will reside in Bayside.
Among those present, was Mrs.Louise Degenhard, grandmother of the bride, who today is celebrating her eightieth birthday and sixty-third anniversary of her wedding. - The Daily Star February 28, 1922
