Kenneth H. Calhoun age 45, farmer.
WWII Draft Registration
Kenenth H. Calhoun, 59, of Davenport, died Monday evening at his home following a heart attack. The funeral will be held today at the Methodist church at Davenport at 2 p.m. The Rev. William Howard will officate and burial will be in Davenport.
Mr. Calhoun was born in Hobart township on Jan. 3, 1895, the son of David and Cora (Brockway) Calhoun. He was a farmer and had lived in Davenport for about 35 years.
On Nov. 1, 1916 he was married to Effie Lott of Hobart, who survives. Also surviving are, one daughter, Mrs. Marjorie Fingar of Davenport; one son, Harry Calhoun of Davenport, six grand children and an uncle, Fred Brockway of Catskill.
Mr. Calhoun was a member of the Methodist church in Davenport and also a charter member of the Davenport Grange. - Stamford Mirror-Recorder July 15, 1954
