Found him on the 1930 Newstead, Erie, New York census (dist 439 img 23) as William Finger age 31, born Poland. He and his wife Emily and their son Adolph are living in the household of Emily's parents.

Mr and Mrs. William Granke, of 12499 Clarence Center Road, Akron will celebrate their golden wedding anniversary Saturday.

Mr. Granke, a native of Germany, has worked at farming most of his life although he worked for a time with the Warsaw Button Co. and former Massey Ferguson Ltd. He still enjoys working in his garden.

Mrs. Granke is the former Emily Finger.

They were married in the bride's home on McNeely Rd., Akron, on June 18, 1926. They have a daughter, Lois and a son, Adolph, and eight grandchildren.

A party will be given in their honor at their residence with approximately 150 guests invited from as far away as Germany, South Carolina and Virginia. - The Batavia Daily News Junje 19, 1976
