Funeral services for Carl F. LeClaire were held Tuesday afternoon at the Townsend-Thayer Funeral Chapel. Interment was in Lakeview Cemetery.
Mr. LeCalire, 70, of 2 Wagener Court, died Dec. 2, 1972 in Soldiers and Sailors Memorial Hospital. A native of Yates County, he was employed for many years as an engineer with the Penn Yan Municipal Board. He was a member of Hunter Hook and Ladder Company of the Penn Yan Fire Department, the Penn Yan Presbyterian Church and the local lodge of ICOF
Besides his widow, Mabel, he is survived by two sons, Bruce, of Penn Yan, and Charles of New Isenberg, Germany; a daughter, Miss Virginia LeClaire of Sayre, Pa., a sister, Mrs. Kathryn Osborne of Waterloo; two brothers, Laurence of Williamstown and Harold of San Jose, Puerto Rico, and seven grandchildren. - The Chronicle Express December 7, 1972
