Mrs. Hattie Durham. Mrs. Edna Fingar remained to spend two weeks visiting her sister, Mrs. Ralph Kennedy, and her mother, Mrs. Durham. -

PENN YAN - Mrs. Edna Fingar, 93, of Penn Yan, died Monday (Aug. 18) at Geneva General Nursing Home. Friends may call from 2 to 4 p.m. Wednesday at the Weldon Funeral Home. A prayer service will be at 8 a.m. Thursday at the funeral home with a Mass of Christian Burial at 8:30 a.m. in St Michael's Church. Burial will be in Bitely Cemetery. Mrs Fingar was born March 3, 1893, in Potter, daughter of John and Hattie Race Durham. She was a member of St. Michael's Church. Surviving are a son, Roger of Branchport, three grandchildren and two great-grandchildren. Finger Lakes Times August 19, 1986
