Rachel A. Fingar, 82, of Skyline Drive, Penn Yan, passed away at the Penn Yan Manor on Saturday, October 6, 2012, surrounded by her family.
Rachel was born May 24, 1930, the daughter of Howard and Genevieve Hopkins Coates. She is survived by sons, Doug (Terry) Fingar of Penn Yan, David Fingar of Penn Yan, Kevin (Pam) Fingar of Branchport and Brian Fingar of Penn Yan; a daughter, Patricia (Philip) Strong of Penn Yan, eight grandchildren and seven great-grandchildren, as well as a sister, Pauline Lane, of Penn Yan.
She was predeceased by her husband, Norman in 2008, a brother, Robert Coates and a sister, Olive Folts.
