Marine Cpl. Donald Finger, son of Mr. and Mrs. Wesley Finger of Bluff Point, has gone into the South Pacific area from a California port. Don, a graduate from PYA in 1943, has been in uniform over a year. His brother, Pvt. Maurice Finger, got home Christmas night on a five-day delay en route from Camp Wheeler, Ga., to Ft. Meade, Md. - Rochester Times-Union January 10, 1945
