Mrs. Cecil J. Eygabroat, prominent in legal circles of Corning and the surrounding areas, has been reappointed Clerk of Children's Court and Clerk to Steuben County Judge Clarence H. Brisco of Corning. Mrs. Eygabroat has served in that capacity since Judge Brisco was appointed by Gov. Dewey early in 1948 and was reappointed shortly after the jurist was sworn in for a full six year term following his election in November.
Mrs. Eygabroat, who lives at 425 North Hamilton Street, Painted Post, has been employed in Judge Brisco's office for a long term of years. She is a native of Bath where she attended Haverling High School and following graduation completed studies at the Misses Howell Secretarial School in Bath. Prominent in the Law Secretarial Association Mrs. Eygabroat is also active in the Presbyterian Church of Painted Post, the Woman's Community Club of Corning and the Corning Country Club. She has one daughter, Joyce, who is active in Painted Post High School affairs and is a sophomore in that school. - The Evening Leader January 5, 1949
