S. Joseph Sanderson, of Branchpoint, were married Saturday noon, Sept. 12th, Rev. Charles S. Emerson, pastor of Potter Baptist Church, officiating. The bride was attended by Mrs. Lucy Shannon, of Penn Yan, matron of honor. Francis Davis of Middlesex, nephew of the groom, acted as best man. Coralee and Beverly Wheat, daughters of the bride, were flower girls and wore pink.-

PENN YAN - Mrs. Charlotte C. Sanderson, 74, of 159 S. Main St., Naples, died yesterday at Thompson Memorial Hospital in Canandaigua. Calling hours at the Weldon Funeral Home will be Sunday from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. There will be a Rebekah service Sunday at 7:30 p.m. The funeral will be at 11 a.m. Monday, with the Rev. Clayton Comstock officiating. Burial will be in Branchport Cemetery. Memorial donations may be made to the Branchport Fire Department.
Mrs. Sanderson was born in the Town of Jerusalem, and worked for 43 years at Michael Stern's clothing store. She retired in 1971. She was a member of the Amalgamated Clothing Workers of America, Local 342 of Rochester the Branchport American Legion auxiliary the Branchport Fire Department auxiliary and Branchport Senior Citizens. She was past noble grand and past district deputy of Lake Keuka Rebekah Lodge No. 342.
Surviving are a daughter, Mrs. Edward (CoraLee) Sullivan of Canandaigua two brothers, Erwin and LeVere Dinehart, both of Penn Yan a sister, Mrs. Gertrude Hopkins, also of Penn Yan 10 grandchildren, four great-grandchildren, and several nieces and nephews. - Finger Lakes Times September 13, 1980
