Found her on the 1930 Torrey, Yates, New York census (dist 19 img 6) as Barbara L. Danes age 8.
Miss Barbara Danes, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Milford M. Danes of Dresden, became the bride of Harold Frederiksen, son of Mr. and Mrs. Niels Frederiksen of Gage, in a simple ceremony solemnized at the Methodist parsonage in Dresden Tuesday afternoon, Aug. 21, 1951. The Rev. George Clarkson officiated at the single ring ceremony.
The bride was attended by her sister, Mrs. John Finger of Dresden, and the groom was attended by John Murphy of Penn Yan, RD 4, as best man.
The bride wore a dress of navy blue with corsage of white rosebuds, her matron of honor wore aqua with corsage of yellow roses. Only members of the immediate families witnessed the ceremony.
After a wedding trip through the New England states, Mr. and Mrs. Frederiksen will live on the groom's farm on Penn Yan, RD 4.
The bride, a graduate of Penn Yan Academy in 1944, has been employed at Baldwins Bank in Penn Yan for the past three and one-half years. The groom, who graduated from the Academy in 1934, is a farmer. - Chronicle-Express August 23, 1951
