Douglas Finch was graduated last week from Millbrook School for Boys. While a student there, he was active in the Glee Club, varsity football, basketball and track and was head of the school observatory. Attending commencement were his parents, Mr. and Mrs. Walter Finch, grandparents, Mr. and Mrs. Ira Finch, all of Canaan, and Mrs. Walter Finch's mother, Mrs. Mark Youmans, of Homstead, Fla., who flew north for the graduation and is spending some time here. Thursday, Douglas will leave with Eric Savage of Short Hills, N.J., and Kip Eggert of Red 'Hook, to spend the summer at Bryce Canyon, Utah. - The Chatham Courier June, 1963
